Games to learn vocab?
Hello.
I'm looking for websites or apps for learning foreign language vocabulary - mainly German and Arabic, but I'll try any language if it's fun!
I'm particularly interested in reading/writing ones as opposed to listening, but I've just trawled the tags of this community and not found much, so would be great to share what's out there.
I'm aware of the BBC Languages website: http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/other/quickfix/ - phrases in 40 languages, plus lots of resources for Welsh, French, German and Spanish: http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/
There's also the great Freerice.com http://freerice.com/category for French, Spanish, German and Italian, which is exactly the type of game I like but my German level is rather beyond the highest level on it.
There's loads of free resources that come up if you Google learn+[language], but I'd love recommendations rather than trawling through dozens of sites wanting loads of my personal details before showing me 20 phrases...
