At the risk of being annoying...
When someone says "我约你" does this generally mean that they are asking you to go on a date or is it just an invitation to hang out?
I've seen "约" being used in both contexts and I was wondering how the "general majority" uses it, if that makes any sense.
Really sorry if this is annoying, but all the definitions that I've dug up simply define it as "invitation" or "agreement" and um yeah.
