Translation help

Hello,
I've been working on translating some French comic books into English while on break from classes (no French classes offered this semester, can you believe it?) and it's been really improving my reading comprehension (I no longer whip out the dictionary for every other word :).

But now the opportunity has come up that one of my favourite comic book artists wants his comic book translated into various languages, and since I am studying French and love translating my French comics, I figured this would be a good experiment to keep me occupied over the summer break (which is creeping up on me fast).

Anyway, I won't be here every week with pages of dialog for proofreading (or will I?) unless I am really stuck and curious about such-and-such (this comic is full of slang). But I would like to see if I've gotten the first page done okay:

(this is only the dialog of a paranormal officer talking to a teenage witch)

...Maintenant, oubliez-moi.

(*It took me forever to figure this phrase out, but I settled on this one)

English:

You've been keeping me waiting.
You know I'm a patient man. People like us have very little use for impatience... but sadly, no amount of patience will ever stop the clock. So I'm afraid I'm going to need an answer. Now.
Good. It's good to listen to your father. He's a fine man. But I want you to remember one thing: This world... is a dream. And people like us, we are the lucid dreamers. Understand that, and you've learned everything I have to teach you.
...Now, forget me.

Thank you!

Also, if you know any good sites of French idioms and slang, I would greatly appreciate them. Especially if there are any sites with English idioms and their French equivalents, if they are so different.
