Hillard & Botting Elementary Greek Translation
I have two questions about a passage in the above named book:
1) in the passage τούς πολίτας εν τήι δίκηι και ευσεβειαι επαιδευσεν why is it τους and not τας πολίτας?
2) another passage says οι δε πολιται δια την αρετην και ευσεβειαν πανταχού ισχυουσιν. What is the meaning of ισχυω? I can't find it anywhere.
Does anyone have experience with this book? What did you think?
