This is my first post. So I hope that I'm doing this right. But does anyone know where I can learn Hindi(website? Anything basic..not too difficult. Something with English and Hindi.

www.livemocha.com has Hindi as an option. I'm not a huge fan of the way the site, but I know people who really like it. The Foreign Service Institute also has downloadable books ( http://www.fsi-language-courses.com/ ) although the one for Hindi feels kind of outdated.

I also Googled for some sites and found a couple of sites that seem to have a lot of links, even though I haven't been to them all: http://101languages.net/links/hindi_language_links.html and http://www.uni.edu/becker/hindi.html

When you've advanced a bit, I also recommend the BBC's Hindi-language website. News articles are a great way to practice.
