Just for grins, I compiled a short list of how the name "Homer Simpson" would be written in various scripts. The one I couldn't figure out was Chinese. I Googled for it already, no dice

no, just a direct phonetic transcription. the character does mean "horse" in some contexts, but in this case it's just a representation of the sound "mer", or rather, the closest approximation.
All but Armenian, Georgian and Tamil I was able to find via a search engine; these I figured out on my own. But I don't think I have the Tamil right; I used ச for [s], but I probably should've used ஸ. And both க and ஹ can be [h], but the former is phonemically /k/.
