Just for grins, I compiled a short list of how the name "Homer Simpson" would be written in various scripts. The one I couldn't figure out was Chinese. I Googled for it already, no dice.
Do they use Latin letters like Japanese does sometimes (of course Japanese uses katakana normally), bopomofo, or regular Chinese letters with the same phonetic value? I would imagine it would be spelled phonetically: hou ma si mo san in Mandarin, maybe (I have no idea what the tones would be). But since there are plenty of characters with the sound hou and so on, which would they use?
