Kitty needs a home
One of my Facebook friends in Ohio whom I've known IRL for a very long time, just had a second kid. This couple has four kitties, but one of them has anxiety issues. With the increasing household they have decided they can't care for this kitty properly anymore. My friend's latest update was speculation about taking this 9-year-old kitty - who has been around longer than either of the kids - to a no-kill shelter.
Persephone is a fat but healthy kitty with a very sweet disposition who would do best as the center of attention in an calm, adults-only house.
I hate that my friends feel they have to rehome Persephone after all these years.
