Welcome to the working world!

That's right, I finally have obtained employment. It is not my dream job but it is full time work and a pay cheque which is the most important thing for me right now. Despite it not being my dream job I actually don't mind the work. The company is very busy so there is stuff to do all day long so I am not bored by any means. Everyone I work with directly is also super nice so that is a bonus.

But I have to say, getting used to a regular work schedule is tough. It has completely wiped me out this week. So much so that I was in bed and sound asleep by 11pm last night...a FRIDAY night! Now I understand why all my friends are falling asleep by 10 or 11pm on friday's when we are hanging out.

Tonight, I am having dinner with a long lost friend...who of course I was reunited with through Facebook. It should be interesting. I haven't seen or spoken to this girl in probably 6 years and the last time I saw her was briefly on the bus or at Tim Hortons or something like that. We were really good friends in middle school but lost touch during high school because we went to different high schools...rival ones at that. When I found her on facebook so many awesome and funny memories of our friendship came flooding back and when Cate suggested we get together with her for dinner I thought it would be great. I just hope it is actually a good idea. I can only imagine how much we have all changed since we were such good friends in middle school, I wouldn't want it to turn into an awkward dinner because we have nothing in common anymore. But what is the wors that could happen? We have an awkward dinner for an hour or so and then we part ways realizing that its best to reminisce on past friendships then trying to rekindle them?
