Summer Summary

Sep 17, 2007 21:05

Since the weather has turned to typical cooler fall weather in the last few days I thought it would be the appropriate time to reflect on the events of this passed summer. I will warn you ahead of time though that this summary is not going to be full of interesting stories about crazy summer shenanigans because my summer was rather calm and uneventful this year. I am contemplating whether I should do this in a list form or in paragraph form. I think list form will suffice.

1. Wonderland trip with C
2. Numerous weekend trips to the cottage and a dog that was mistaken for a bear in the pitch black night
3. Camping at Turkey Point....nazi park rangers, goatsie, shabba, volleyball, smores, 60 of amaretto, ranger hunter and so much more
4. Drinking lots of beer at the new Bond residence
5. Softball...GO DRAGONS!!
6. Caribana '07 at Mikey's place...beer, amaretto, jello shots, tons of food, and an almost fight with a bunch of teenage punks
7. Squires for shitty (meaning awesome) breakfast
8. Birthday Party for me in the backyard

Wow, I find it rather sad that I can't come up with a list of 10 things that happened this summer....however, I did say my summer was on the uneventful side.

On a completely different note, I found out through the grapevine that my Supervisor in Bournemouth has resigned from the university. That explains why she hasn't returned the hundreds of emails I have sent her in the last 6 months. Now, the question is what happens with my dissertation now??? If my supervisor is gone who will be the one to mark my thesis? How can anyone else fairly mark my work when they have no knowledge of my topic?? AND WHY THE HELL COULDN'T MY SUPERVISOR TELL ME SHE WAS LEAVING??? That is just common courtesy!!!! I am very angry about this whole situation. My thesis has been nothing but a complete nightmare since the get go. I am almost to the point where I don't even care to finish it but I know I will regret it for the rest of my life if I don't. Argh!!!
