In St. Martin
Hi friends :)
Yes, I made it to St. Martin in one piece. I thought I had posted in here two weeks ago but something didn't work. I am working through an internet cafe where the price is 5 euros per hour, and I have a small prepaid account right now so I can just use like 15 minutes at a time.
We are doing very well. We seem to do everything together, like a bunch of baby ducks following the momma duck. We are planning like mad for VBS and for the rest of the Sundays when we are here for children's church. Tomorrow we are having a training meeting at our guest house (Like a hotel) for teens and women from the church so they can help us with VBS and carry on children's church when we leave.
We have been doing a bit of tourism... on Monday we took a ferry to Ilet de Pinel (Pinel Island) which is a small touristy island that has no running water or electricity but great snorkeling and high priced food... I got to see the coolest fishies in the ocean! Too bad I don't have an underwater camera... I got burned pretty bad even with SPF 45! It was great though... sometimes after dinner we go out to the marina and see what's happening in Marigot since almost everything here is within walking distance.
Well, now I need to send out a few mass emails, so I'm going to go. Keep praying for us!
