annoyed

I would like to add something.  I just did laundry.  I washed all the colors.  Of the entire load one shirt was mine and I had more washed underwear than Josh.  HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?  And trust me, neither of us has a large collection of white unders.

So I got to thinking about how Josh has a larger dresser than me and never ever seems to be able to fit all of his clothes into it, and how his dress clothes are hanging up in the closet, and how he has a giant tub PACKED with his winter clothes, and how he put on a pair of shorts the other day and found $10 and a receipt for LAST SUMMER.  How can one go all summer and then in the first week of September, finally, finally, put on this pair of shorts?  How?  I'll tell you how...you own WAY TO MANY FRICKEN CLOTHES.  I may have let this slide while we didn't have a washer and dryer b/c one never knew how long we would go without washing anything (2 months?).  But no.  This is too much.  There are some shorts I found in there that are ugly as hell and wouldn't even let him wear outside of the house.  In his closet I found 4 pair of dress kahkis and one pair of black dress pants.   How many times does Josh dress up so much that he needs dress pants?  I think it averages to about once every two years.  So I got down these pants, which I strongly suspect were gifts to him picked up from the Goodwill, not by me.  Anyways, the first pair I pull down has rips in the cuffs and is covered in stains.  But this is not what got me.  What got me was the two PLEATS IN THE FRONT.  I mean imagine your grandpa's pants in the 80's.  Then imagine them even uglier.  These are those pants.  WHY ARE THEY STILL IN OUR HOUSE?!?!?! Why??????????? I lied...he has 5 pairs of kakhis.  The one with the pleats, two that were made maybe in the mid 90's, and the 2 he got for our wedding...the ones he wore at the rehearsal and the ones he wore in the wedding.

And I know there is more clothing in there for the 80's that came from the goodwill 5 or 6 years ago.  He and I need to have a discussion soon.  I may even get rid of a few of my own clothes (even though I did BEFORE we moved) to inspire him on.
