I put my figures in my thesis today. All rough draft like. It is now 67 pages long. And fricken HUGE...as in file size. I have some pretty large pictures in it. And I have to add more. Bleh.
I should work on that. But I want to go home.
Josh and I were walking out to our car today, and some dude was peeing on the stinktree. Josh shielded my eyes and made me hurry up and get in the car. I wish he been there when I was out in the field with that one guy I will not mention out of politeness. (He does not live in or near Nashville).
Then when we got to one of the four-ways near the hospital, a family of five was trying to cross the street. There was a mom, dad, 12 yr. old girl, 10 yr. old boy, and a baby in a stroller. The crossed the street ALL holding hands, crouched down really low, and as a herd (seriously, the parents were trying to cover the children with their bodies as they crossed the street). I think they were worried Josh and I would see them, and then leap our car onto them and let it devour them. Because all Ford Taurus from the year 1995 are fueled on blood, not gas. That's why there are so sweet.
There is nothing, nothing! that smells worse than rotting radishes in water. Nothing. Not even being downwind from a paper mill next to a turkey farm. I wouldn't even wish that smell on my worst enemies.
I need to stop storing my radishes in water.
Today everything doesn't seem so bad as it did yesterday. I even got some stuff done. It doesn't seem like much, but it is some. I have a lot of thinking stuff to do next though. Actually I have to remake one of those ubber tedious diagrams again because I used the WRONG element. I used galium instead of gadalinium, b/c I thought Ga was Gadalinium, but it's not...its Gd.
Do you know what elements I know the best? The Lanthanides. They are the top row of those two rows that don't actually fit in the periodic table and the professor usually glosses over them in class. Those are the REE and they are my favs.
