Kitten Report
Kitten poop is pretty stinky sometimes. R. and I discovered that a section of our livingroom smelled pretty stinky and we went hunting for the culprit. We couldn't find it, but we were pretty sure that it was a result of Clem eating Sunny's food again. She can't seem to hold her poop when that happens, and we figured she just couldn't make it upstairs. I finally spied the offensive soupy mess... in the trashcan! My kitten rocks!
Foreign Report
I think I could do without seeing another teenaged foreign kid for a few weeks. This weekend, I helped D. out and helped run the orientation for his newly arrived kids. In general it was like having 30 kids for the weekend, all between 14 and 18. Mostly it rocked. I had a really cool conversation about Japanese government with a kid whose English was pretty halting. But he got himself understood. Unfortunately there was a lot of time spent trying to rally the kids to do one thing or another, and an unbelievable amount of time yelling at the German kids for speaking German to each other instead of English. Then I came home and slept 14 hours.
Soup report
How will I ever attain my goal of bringing lunch with me 4 days a week when I can buy vegan organic soup from a kick-ass stand one block away? I should give that up for a soggy sandwich I made myself. How much money will I really save?
Random thought report
I used to hate root beer and love marshmellows, but now I love root beer and hate marshmellows. I still hate licorice or anything that resembles it in texture or taste.
