Watching a psychological thriller on tv and browsing the net. Found this and got strangely nervous. My worst nightmare is drowning. Things under water scares me on another level than anything other. The dreamy scene from The Piano when she's stuck in the line from the piano and drowned had me scared and shivery. 
Still it's beautiful. 

It was a huge disappointment when the elves won last time... We're still a bit flabbergasted and this does not bode well for the new poll. Vampires vs Werewolves...

This morning started bloody awful.

Today my sweetest has solved our internetrelated problem. Any day now we will be back online!

Todays strangest experience was the personal ad in DN (Dagens Nyheter- one of the biggest national newspaper in Sweden) where a woman looks for an older man with the time and resources to further her career and be her mentor...

... and on my way to work I found a glove on the ground. Strange. It's cold enough that you would notice if you lost a glove. I've heard that China Mieville has made something of it in Un Lun Dun. I really have to read it soon, but right now I've just started on Dust by Elizabeth Bear and it's strange enough to keep me occupied for a day or two.
