Wait for it, wait for it, here it comes...yup, that's it. DING DONG! End of semester crunch time is here. I'm doing good so far...I'm not buried too far underneath a pile of work, but at any minute I might sink under. So far I've finished my portfolio (including my teacher work sample, which is a huge relief) and done all the work for a project that's due on Thursday. All that's left for this week is a big paper due on Friday (which I still have to do observations for) and a handful of Wesleyannes performances, which after today isn't quite so scary. I have another big assignment due on Monday as well as a video critique, then a presentation and 10 lessons due on Wednesday, and a big group presentation next Thursday night, plus juries and a library proficiency to do. After that, I'm done. (I think. I might have forgotten a thing or two in all that.) It sounds do-able now that 2/3 of the big things for this week are out of the way.

I am oh-so-ready to go home for three weeks and have nothing more pressing to worry about than holiday festivities and how late I get to sleep in every morning. I am looking forward to reinstating my afternoon naps over Christmas break, that is for sure. I have missed them. :(

Aside from all the stress in life right now...life is GOOD. I have some things to be very happy about, which I don't want to jinx so I'm not going to say anything just yet.

And everyone should go right now and listen to the Braid Paisley song "She's Everything." It's so sweet and makes me happy. :)
