The summer has been long and hot; lots of traveling and dissertation writing. But to twist Lewis: "always summer and never Holidays."
Now I'm back in Ivory Tower at my new job - librarian. Lots of shelving today. I'm taking Pratchett's orangutan librarian as my mascot as I begin reluctantly to rule the stacks. Hopefully I'll be able to hide out there enough to get the rough draft of the dissertation done and turned in soon.
It'll be OK. 'Cause not that I have anything against the other houses, but Ravenclaws Rule.
