Well, I see that my earlier dissertating days spoiled me - making my own schedule, time and energy for thought... Being a librarian and adjunct instructor is wearing me out. Today rather than church I am reclined on the Raven-blue couch, drinking coffee out of a mug similarly cobalt, and trying not to panic about the conference paper that should have been sent out days ago.

I must say, though, that of all my duties I like cataloging new books best. Such a feeling of power. The library is growing before my eyes.
