Hello Internet!
I actually don't have a lot to say, I don't think. I mean, aside from some craziness that I'd really rather not talk about until it clears itself up, not a lot has been going on. I've jumped into Change headfirst and I'm loving it, but it's a lot of hours right now and that leaves little time for any activities that I may otherwise have reported on.
I've developed a serious tea habit. There's a Teaopia right around the corner from Change so I go there before each shift and usually again on my break. I'm going to have to start cutting down in it because it's not cheap. But it's delicious. And the girls there know me now lol.
I also think my manager, Cheyvonne, really likes me, which is usually what I aim for. But she seems to trust me with things that she's not really supposed to be trusting me to do, so that's a bit of a stoke to my ego. But I guess we'll see how much I'm doing once our full-timer gets back from friggin' JAPAN. Hours are going to be cut back, but I hope some of the other girls get their cut back more (like the girl who a) already has a full time job and b) keeps booking off entire weekends because of it and is taking off entire weeks of time during the summer on MULTIPLE occassions..... I'm not upset about it or anything though).
I'm moving in about a month, too, which is just awesome. The lease is all signed and my parents are going to come down the weekend of the 22nd to move me. We'll even have the house a few weeks earlier than that, so I'm gonna move as much of my stuff over during random times in the week as I can, so that I don't have to do a lot. It seems like a good plan to me. I kinda want to just tell Petra to get the moving van over here when SHE rents it so I can move my bed there and liiiiiiive there. But we need to discuss the room situation, and I imagine that will get pretty intense - not really because I think we'll all complain about what we end up with, but because I think we all have slightly different ideas about how everything should be priced.
Hmmm apparently I am going to the park with Colin before my shift. My report on my life will have to wait. Actually, I think that's about it, anyways, lol.
