not kitty related - some clarification
There are times that my adventures in Heathenry are going to make appearances here. I've outed myself. I've decided to be vocal about Paganism. It's just going to happen. Deal with it. Chances are those posts will be long; they'll be tagged and under appropriate cuts.
For the most part, this journal is fannish/ranty/personal/drunk. That's not going to change.
Adventures in Heathenry are mostly over at my Tumblr. So if you're following me there, sorry. There's quite a community surrounding the #Heathenry and #Lokean tags, so that's why I'm suddenly there spamming all the things.
(The subject of Loki is very touchy - some Heathens are Totally For Him, others are Totally Against Him. It doesn't help that the Avengers fandom is in full swing right now. It's an interesting time to be an outed Lokean/Rokkatru. A lot was lost during the Christianization of Scandinavia; this much is obvious upon perusing the Poetic and Prose Eddas. To be Rokkatru means bonding with your fellow believers and pooling together what you know and what you've experienced. I'm not a very conservative Heathen, lol. I guess you could say I'm one of the crazy liberal ones.)
Basically I'm not going to apologize about what I write about or what I happen to believe in, but I will be polite about it. You don't have to read my stuff; I'm not going to proselytize; that is all.
