Poor Pratchett

The poor guy is again at defending himself in front of accusations to have been not enough respectfull of the Goddess Rowling.

How it is hard to understand that brit authors -above all fantasy brit authors- have had enough to hear about Rowling when they give an interview?

Is it so hard to leave them alone with that? To be respectfull enough to ask them questions about their work?

It is as if it is impossible to talk about fantasy without mentioning Rowling.

I don't know if the journalist really thought that he was doing a favor to Pratchett by supporting the idea that Rowling plagiarised him, but if he was, he is fucking thick.

The Rowling's topic should be a no man's land in this kind of interviews, except if the author have chosen to talk about it. It is so obvious that there is no way to escape accusations of bitterness, jealousy ou malice if you have something else to say than "she is the best author ever".
