(no subject)
Despite having a small museum of kate spade bags already, when I saw this maya bag (in red, oddly) last week on sale beyond sale, I couldn't resist. To quote my brother, it was so cheap it was practically stealing. This is just one of those things that to me is so brilliantly cute that I (I'll admit it) immediately covet it.
However, after carrying it a couple of places, I realized that a lot of people just don't get it. Hence, I suppose, why it was sitting in the shop for so long that it actually fell to such a kill price. (In fact, I remember when this was first came out a couple of years ago!) I mean sure, a couple of people said it was cute... a couple of people laughed like I was slightly nutty, and really only one person that I showed it to really got it. Only that one person freaked out like I would have done had I seen someone carrying it. Even my mom didn't understand why I had to have it. So, what's the deal? Is it just me? I don't even LIKE birds (find them kind of revolting actually) but this is just so darling!!
