Alrighty, so for you Izzard fans out there, my attempts at "splashy, splashy" are improving, (not that they could get much worse). But, truthfully, my ridiculous grin after each lab shows that I'm still very easily overwhelmed in this whole "chatting up boys" category. So, no elaboration needed... just know I'm socially pretty happy.
On a much much MUCH sadder note... I do believe Lola is dying. *sob* She started looking like she didn't feel good 2 days ago. Her eye goo-ed shut (the worst possible thing, an eye issue!). Then this morning both eyes were closed with mucous. She is also having an extremely hard time getting around. I looked up everything that it could possibly be but it seems it's either a) a cold, b) an allergy or c) old age. She is over the average hamster life span of 2 years. I totally cleaned and redid her house in case of allergy, and I've been trying to clean the eyes with saline, but it doesn't look good. I'm hoping for the best but expecting the worse. Now, I'm just trying to keep her comfortable and well loved. It really is more heart-breaking than I ever expected. It just sucks how fast they can go down hill... apparently it's due to their fast metabolisms. Luckily I took some photos a couple weeks ago, I certainly wouldn't want to remember her as she looks right now.
Well, another week seems to be coming to a close. After so much time off, I can really feel how fast time flys now. So, strange. Well, I'm off to finish up an assignment and continue reading till my brain bleeds. I swear I've gotten a horrible headache every day this week! Might be time to get the old contact prescription checked.

PS: who names a pet snake Ted? (Dan) Fan-freaking-tastic. Seems "Ted" has made it "his" mission to help me over my snake phobia.... greeeaaat. But heck, if it gets me hanging out at his owners house, I'm all for spending time with the horribly icky creature. Course, my mind may change once I figure out what kind of snake we're talking about here *shudder*
