A Dream From God?
I had a dream about a month ago that I think was a message from God.
In the dream it was night or twilight. I was younger, maybe 16 or so. I was in a house though I don't think I was alone, a sense of others but vaguely.
The back yard is on the edge of a large forest of at least a few (square?) miles, on the south west part of the forest.
I hear rumours of something strange happening on the forest, opposite me, on the edge of the northeast part of it. Murmurings of something strange, or scary or dangerous, something mysterious and worrying. I don't know what to make of it but it makes me uneasy.
Something is in the sky people say. People are coming out of their houses and looking or going to look or investigate and I hear about it from those people when I step outside my front door. I can't see it from my house but it's visible just less than a block away. It's unnerving and between that and the rumours of something going on behind my house I'm getting really uneasy, scared.
Then a guy comes in the thru the window. I don't see it as strange or odd. I don't know who he is but I trust him right away without any doubt. He is a tall and large, fit man. He is dressed cleanly and neatly. Just jeans and shoes or boots and a neat shirt that is tucked in but unremarkable. His hair is full and brown, maybe light or medium brown, brushed back from his face. Neat but not so perfect as to look like a wig. He has a very calm, confident manner. He is quiet and firm, though I don't think he really ever speaks using his voice. In fact, his lips don't move.
He speaks using his mind only. He is not arrogant, loud, condescending.
He tells me (regarding my worries about what's going on in the forest behind the house and the sky in front of my house) that he'll take care of it/he'll take care of me. In other words, I'll be fine, I don't have to worry. I can trust in him completely. And I do.
Is this the Lord telling me he'll take care of me and that I don't have to worry despite what is going on around me?
