Food is an important part of a balanced diet

Uggh...I am so full. I seriously haven't been hungry since Thursday. Maybe that comes from constantly eating for three days...hey, I'm young, I can take it. Thanksgiving was sooo much fun! We left on Tuesday evening (er...I mean...I caught a cold and couldn't go to school the next day anyway and...) and got up there and it was fricken cold! We're talking like, below zero here. At first it was just my mom, dad, sister and me, but the rest of my family came up the next day.

Once they got there, things were very loud and there was so much going on. I love that though, especially on holidays. I like having a large extended family. The other ones that came were my great g-ma and g-pa, my nana, and my cousin Chris, who I somehow ended up sitting next to at every single meal...yeah, I guess you'd have to be there.

We watched a lot of movies and played a lot of cards. I tried to do my homework, honestly I did, but it's so hard when there are video games to play and good books to read. We watched the Bourne Identity on one of the nights, which I didn't really understand, but I also didn't really pay that much attention. There was just too much 'shoot-em-up' stuff in it. And when Matt Damon stabs that other guy with a pen? Gross. We also had Day After Tomorrow (pretty good, but ends kind of happy for a natural disaster movie) and Elf, plus the millions of ones we already own.

No one is ever allowed to use the phrase, "knife it" ever, ever again, as I am now the butt of a large family inside joke. Man, no one would let me forget that the whole time. You get words mixed up one. time. and it bites you in the butt for the entire rest of the holiday. It was kind of funny though, but it's a good thing that I have a sense of humor...And to make it worse, my dad, sister, and Chris somehow worked it into every single movie we watched, or game we played, or food we ate at any given moment. I think they're still laughing.

I think that's all. We got back last night only to come home and have yet another Thanksgiving (this time w/ my Uncle and his wife b/c they missed it on Thursday). I am so sick of turkey. Of food in general. I have yet to eat today and I woke up 4 hours ago. I don't even know if I will.

Oh yeah, I almost beat my mom (!) in foosball, which is an amazing feat in itself. It went down to the very last goal and she got it because she cheated. (Okay, not really, but it makes me feel better to think of it that way...) And we're getting a pool table.
