Just sent another query...
To the original agent that I wanted for D. I revised it for her and resubmitted, but she still declined because the market kind of, well, sucks for that particular book. She did ask that I keep her in mind for future projects... so... I sent her one. Finally. I'm not sure it's really up her alley, but I'm hoping that she likes my writing enough to keep giving great feedback and encouragement that maybe THIS one will win her over. Especially since she said she wanted to see me do a sweeping historical. Well... it's not exactly "sweeping," but it IS historical.
I'm kind of sick to my stomach right now. I don't know why. Maybe because I don't want to get rejected by her AGAIN. That would be 3 effin' times.
Maybe this one's the charm.
Maybe it's not.
And now I'm too wired to sleep.
