I'm going to take a second to say this: Life is Wonderful. It's similar to the japanese title of one of my favorite games of all time, and its a true enough statement. I stress true ENOUGH, because its not universal. Let's face it, there are not only individual moments where life is the opposite of wonderful, but there are whole individuals who would argue against the thought. But, would you rather give it up? Honestly and truely?
I think that this existance has enough to intrigue any human being, regardless of the pleasures they are currently experiencing or being deprived of. I know there are things I want to be alive to see and determine that I can't GUARANTEE I'd be able to in death.
Therefore, I'd like to say to ALL mothers on this mother's day: THANK YOU! I appreciate and respect women that endure childbirth so much, regardless of who they are. It is a truly chaotic and spiritualistically manic period of time, and physically exhausting/painful. Being willing to withstand that for the sake of giving life to another is truly altruistic, in my belief, even if they don't realize it.
That's not even to MENTION the wonderful women in the world that then continue to raise and care for such individuals, and make their lives not only real, but comfortable and magical. In writing this, I of course am thinking of my own mother. Thank you, mom. I love you.
