A dude is selling a bike on craigslist. I'm going to check it out. If you never see or hear from me again, tell the authorities that the last person to see me alive lived at [redacted now that I'm still alive] and his phone # was [same deal].
I'm not normally paranoid, but that book on serial killers I read on Wednesday kind of freaked me out. But I do want a road bike and this one is cheap. That's probably exactly the kind of "broken-wing" ploy Ted Bundy would have used. Except it's not about the bike seller being injured or weak and needing my help. It's about the bike being cheap.
Anyway, we shall see.
