Word of the day: Smitten
I've been wanting to post, but don't really have anything to say. So it's time for more huge questionnaire of doom!
Day 06 - Write 30 interesting facts about yourself.
Seriously, how tedious is this question? Has anyone written out all 30, or been able to think of that many? And "interesting" is a very relative term. Let's see how far I get.
1. I am double jointed in my left pinky
2. I shred things.
3. My middle name is Ann, which was my mom's middle name. And I like that. Want to inflict the same thing on my daughter, if I have one.
4. I finally got some pictures hung in my apartment! Which I guess isn't really a fact about me, but was an important happening in my week, and makes me happy.
5. I have really stubby little dwarf toes. That's not necessarily a bad thing, I just always thought they were oddly short. They are mocking me right now.
6. I involuntarily convulse sometimes, like mini seizures. I don't know why. Feels kind of weird kind of good.
7. Along that same vein, I used to be able to get my left leg to vibrate violently by itself. It doesn't do that hardly at all anymore. Whither the shake, leg?
Eh, that's good enough.
Day 07 - Your zodiac sign and if you think it fits your personality.
I think the zodiak is complete bunk, akin to taking a fortune cookie seriously. I used to read it for fun, but it was so generic and inter-changeable with all the other horoscopes, what's the point? Which I guess isn't the same as your zodiac personality. I'm an Aries. All the things I've read about Aries stresses that it's the red planet of war, and therefore I am supposed to be an aggressive hot-headed leader with a huge sexual appetite. Since I'm pretty much the opposite of that, no I don't think I match my sign.
Day 08 - A moment you felt the most satisfied with your life.
I feel pretty damn satisfied right now. Lately it's any time I'm in a good mood and not feeling guilty for the things I put off. I'm exactly where I want to be: living on my own, not with Bear any more and no longer have to be around people I don't want to, a job that pays well, good friends, I'm getting the dating thing going, my house is clean at the moment, I have a car that works. There are definitely important things I still need to work on (exercise and getting my license are the main things). But most of my adult life up to two years ago was a constant struggle to get to a good place. I have finally arrived at that place.
Day 09 - How you hope your future will be like.
I will get my license. My job will train me to do something an actual professional would do. Someone will fall in love with me and marry me. We will have a child, and a dog if he really wants one. We will take fun vacations together. I will live in a house that has a garage. Picket fence mother fuckers. Gay marriage will be made legal. Jake Gyllenhaal (with a beard) will make out with me. All wars will cease and everyone will group hug.
Day 10 - Discuss your first love and first kiss.
Everyone knows my first love, which was Bear of course. Most people also know who my first kiss was, which was my next door neighbor John Cunningham. We used to hang out on my porch and talk. One day we migrated into my downstairs den onto the couch. I had my head in his lap and informed him I had never been kissed. He rectified the situation. There was too much aggressive tongue from his side, but otherwise it was pretty awesome. That was the only time it happened. He is by far the hottest dude I've ever kissed XD
Day 11 - Put your music player on shuffle and write 10 songs that pop up.

Day 12 - Bullet your whole day.
* Drag myself out of bed five minutes after my second alarm went off
* Take a shower. Blow dry my hair after, which I just started doing. I found out it makes it light and fluffy and soft. I approve.
* Gather things for lunch. Remind myself that I should make my lunch the day before like I always do. Grab two bagels instead of having time to make a sandwich like I want. Manage to make a green drink though. At least that's a vegetable.
* Leave early to pick up Christina. Her car died and I'm driving her to and from work this week. So far it's not so bad. She "expresses surprise" that I take a conventional through-the-lights way to work instead of cutting through a parking lot and trying to cross Northern Lights between traffic. Inform her she can drive next time then.
* Arrive at work. Change shoes. Put green drink in fridge. Eat yogurt. Start music.

* Gather stuff that have typed from printer. Distribute. Stuff envelopes. Want to spend rest of day working on bonds, but there is a snag. Continue working on queue instead.

* Cook Totino's pizza.
* Have glass of Bear Creek pomegranate wine that I got for christmas. It is the shit.

* Read sites that I read every day: A Bad Case of the Dates, AfterElton, PopEater, Cinema de Merde, Cracked, Cake Wrecks, Hyperbole and a Half (I was never that scary as a child O.o), some of the cheezburger sites, avoid the ones with videos because my streaming is crap, feel guilty for not reading the news.
* Decide to fill out more questions. Not go to bed early like I was going to.
The word of the day comes from a post about Natalie Portman. She was at the Golden Globes or whatever recently in a dress that all the sites I read hated, but that I really liked. She just got engaged and pregnant, and looked radiant. I watched a video of her acceptance speech and the commentary said that her fiance looked so proud and smitten. His eyes were glowing and he had the sweetest smile, I wanted to pinch his cheeks.
