Post for Posts sake
Well.....um..... After sitting someones account for 2 weeks on my stupid game (as well as playing mine during war -_-") I decided to put my account on 'vacation mode' for a few days to get away from it. So, I'm halfway through Harry Potter #6. HP #5 was a horrible read. I'm so glad that this one is much better. Its actually funny and interesting again. When Harry did that 'pretend to put the lucky potion in Rons glass', I was like, zomg! Harry did something clever without someone having told him to do it! lol.
Its pretty funny seeing poor Harry in between Ron and Hermoines bickering and jealousies. ^.^"
So any bets on favourites to win the 2008 election? Its a ways off, but its always fun to speculate. I still think its between Hillary and McCain.
I also watched, due to request of mom, Jeff Foxworthys gameshow, "Are you smarter than a 5th Grader?". Its mildly entertaining, just caus Foxworthy makes fun of the contestants. But its not really a stretch to realize that adults don't remember anything from school. Thats just how it works, you learn it then forget it the minute you don't have a use for it anymore. Its fun to watch college grads struggle with elementary knowledge, but I've found that the more I learn the less I know. Education is a marathon of endurance and self-application. Being smart really has little to do with it. Having a degree doesn't make you intelligent.
