My friend rexs_wife had not commented in my journal in a few weeks, so I hopped on over to her journal to make sure she was okay. She is really the only person that I "know" although it be online, that has Trigeminal Neuralgia. You never know what horrible crap could be going on in the life of someone with TN, so I get concerned when I don't see her around online, especially since she is pregnant. Well, I just found out that she filed for disability. Apparently, it had to be quite some time ago because she has a hearing on March 8th. She told me that her lawyer is confident that she will get disability, because he has represented TN patients in the past who did not have any trouble. I really do hope that she gets it for sure. She has a boy and a girl under five years old, and she is pregnant with another boy, so she is a full time mommy.

The idea of disability has been thrown around for me at different times when my TN had me in a state where I couldn't do much of anything. But, I want to work, I don't have kids yet to take care of and I know I would be terribly depressed if I couldn't go to work everyday. I don't think it would be good for me at all. But, it is comforting to hear that it shouldn't be too tough to get disability if I absolutely had to go that route at some point *knock, no beat on wood".
