Elementary (2012) - Watched a couple of episodes

Not good. Sorry, but no.

If it was some random crime series, maybe I'd watch it. Maybe.
Because in addition to failing with 'Sherlock Holmes in NY, or whatever city they're in' it's also boring as hell.

In general, crimes are lame. Lame lame lame. In the first episode I knew who did it five minutes in. And I suck at that usually; get so lost in the story that I forget looking for the clues. The rest of the crime solving action in other episodes was also dull.
Male lead is uninteresting, female lead IS interesting, but she can hardly support the whole show on its own. Supporting cast is appallingly unremarkable.

As for the 'Sherlock' part... They really should have just said 'concept drew inspiration from Sherlock Holmes franchise' and they would have been in the clear. Instead they got themselves some extra baggage that they simply aren't delivering.

Did not engage me in the least. And I do regret that.
Maybe fanfiction will be better...
