Why is it when I exercise I don't lose weight, I actually gain it? My weight loss is still happening, but it's been slowing down lately, so I decided yesterday to get off my ass and finally start exercising. I put in my half hour on the treadmill, but was I rewarded today on the scale? No indeed, I was not. I weigh a pound more this Monday than I did last Monday. You can't tell me that 30 minutes on the treadmill is going to build up enough muscle to do that, either. Stupid body. Sigh.
