I think this may be one of my favorites so far! Jealous!Lily who isn't whining and the whole thing very well written--can it be true? Yes! Huzzah for you! Plus, I'm a sucker for a good mythology reference. Nice work! =)

Lily’s lips quirked as she thought about the fact that the Persephone myth was about being kidnapped and raped by the Lord of the Underworld. How utterly romantic.

Oh, nicely done! I love a jealous Lily, it's a nice change. I really like that last line, the denial but knowing that you're in denial, which makes denying kind of pointless.
