ONE:
You may question what in the world this rabbit is about, and I assure you I have many of my own ideas as to what I would write about James, Lily, the marauders, and an angora rabbit. However, I am passing the buck to you.
TWO:
This is an excerpt from some of my own writing. I thought it would be a fun thing to play with. The basic idea is nostalgia, flashbacks, etc. but you're welcome to take whatever liberties you'd like! (Please do not feel obligated to continue the scene in your own words, that's really not what I'm giving it for!)
[Lily:] "You've wanted to kiss me since third year?”
“Yeah, I have.”
“Why then? Why not before, and why then instead of later?”
“What is this, an interrogation?”
“Just answer the question if you know what's good for you, Potter.”
“If you must know, you had gotten a haircut, and it was the first time I properly noticed the way your eyes looked with your killer cheekbones.”
“You're lying.”
“Fine. It was the day Sirius put a dungbomb in your breakfast cereal. You thought it had been me, and honestly it might as well have been as I had put him up to it. You were livid. You screamed at me something awful, and stormed out of the great hall, and all the rest of that day I couldn't get the thought of kissing you off my mind. It was like a disease or something.”
“Your infatuation with me was like a disease? That's your way of telling me you've wanted to kiss me since third year?”
“Well, when you put it like that...”
“You haven't asked me how long I've wanted to kiss you.”
THREE:
What KIND of gifts would you be happy to get?: As someone who will be giving art, I'd really love fic in return. However, art is of course lovely too!
What would you like to see IN your gift?: If you write me a fic, please, please I beg of you, do something with Peter. He gets left out so often, the poor bloke, and I think his role in the early Marauders would actually have been quite hilarious. So that is my challenge to you: fit him in, in an important or comedic way.
Bonus points if you can portray Lily without writing her as a perpetually self-righteous, uppity bint. :( I don't think of her that way and I think too many people write her temper into every moment of her existence.
Squicks? (things you do NOT want to see in your gift)?: I don't ship Snilly or Liverus or whatever the kids call it these days, however I do like conversations/ situations between James and Lily that cover her defeated relationship with Snape and her budding relationship with James. Take from that what you will!
Please no references to or cameos from 'exes' ie other guys/ gals James or Lily may have dated.
What is the highest rating you would prefer to give and/or receive?: PG-13 is good, though if you really want to get kinky I don't mind higher ratings.
I would prefer to give PG-13 or under, but if you ask nicely I'm not averse to drawing something that would fall under a higher rating. ;)
