HAPPY BIRTHDAY a bit belated, dear shirebound!!! I hope you and the sweet Pip-dog (SO glad she's feeling better!) had a lovely day! I just have been working like crazy---even at night---and have been so awfully neglectful of things around here. Slap me, please? Or better yet, send Aragorn to do it. :)
But anyway, a very happy belated day and did I read that you and Shire-mom have yet to celebrate? Well, do it up in style and let us know about it!

I'm still alive... I haven't moved to Cuba and am not currently attempting to climb Mt. Everest or anything.
And there's not much exciting to report... I've just been so busy working to sell some of the things we own to raise the money to pay my sister and bro-in-law back what we owe them that I haven't had time or energy, even at night, to post on LJ. Or I've been too intensely glued to CNN for Flight 370 news---I can't seem to get enough news reporting on it!
But anyway, just working and working---we're working on our new web site and THAT is going to make or break us. I've been spending spare time learning about SEO and such---it's all new to me and there's a lot of stuff to be done. If our new web site doesn't work and we still can't make a living with our little business, then I'll have to make a drastic change and go out and regular job again---not that I'd mind that, really. There are some GREAT things about being self-employed, and there are some HORRIBLE things about being self-employed.
Today is finally beautiful weather here, and my brother and I decided to take the day off for the first time in weeks. Yes, we've been working on Saturday and Sundays, both. I really want to go out and do some gardening, but instead, I'm catching up on housework and I'm going to clean up an old sewing machine my sister gave me. It's all metal---no plastic parts, yay! I love old sewing machines. I think I could collect them.
How is everyone? I've been READING LJ---I always do---so I do know what's going on with everybody. Oh, and since I never managed to see TH: DOS, I will be seeing it on Netflix as soon as it comes out. That's not too far now, providing that Netflix doesn't have a long waiting list.
