1. What was the highlight of your week?
This weekend! Staying with my sister was fun times. I got to check out the National Archives (my sister works there - I had never been in there before), and hit up the Smithsonian for some ruby slippers action. I also went to this marvelous cupcake place in D.C. called Red Velvet and it was fantastical. The cupcakes are $3.50 a piece, but SO worth it. We also went to Matchbox for lunch and had some really good pizza. Quality shopping was done... scenic drives... a viewing of The Wrestler... a random trip to Target... a day in Alexandria (My favorite antique shop EVER isn't there anymore, though. I'm pretty sure the owner died. Crazy bitch)... and we totally watched the Alice In Wonderland DVD (as in the one with Carol Channing, Jayne Meadows, ETC ETC). It was a grand time.

At dinner tonight... my sister returned from the bathroom and I asked if she felt any better... hoping she'd get the cue and say "bbbbeeettter... muuuuch bettter..." a la C. Chan in Alice In Wonderland, but she didn't. So I did it. And laughter occured. Also, I laughed rather hard when my sister suggested an alternative to the guilty pleasure of smoking could be cross-dressing. Brilliant.

Going to bed after this... then waking up at 6:30, getting ready, packing, leaving at 7:30am for the Metro to D.C., dropping my stuff off at Kate's work, walking around D.C. by myself, heading back to the National Archives around noon to get my stuff, heading over to Union Station with Kate, and taking the train back to Wilmington at 1pm. Alisha's picking me up from the train station, then we're going to lunch, and... not sure what else is happening yet. Eventful.

I went on one once... the Storm Runner at Hershey Park. It basically lasted like what felt like 5 seconds. But it was a rush, so yes, I enjoyed it.

Disney World when I was 3.

Maleficent, though I'd hardly cast her as a simple cartoon... that is one tough bitch.

I helped make dinner last night... it was pilaf with onions and mushrooms and scallops and shrimp and it was really really good. I'd never had scallops before. I was expecting them to be chewy. But I was wrong. And I'm GLAD I was wrong.

It was AMAZING today.

I really only e-mail my sister on weekdays when she's working.

I haven't done too many stupid things with my cell phones... except when I got my Samsung slider last year, I wanted to keep my old-ass Samsung flip phone... and I had it when we left AT&T, but somehow it disappeared during the 3 minute long drive to the Lowes afterward. How does that even happen? I wasn't even driving! And man... I love my BlackBerry, but I miss both of those phones. My Samsung slider had the most magnificent multimedia on it. I have yet to fill my BlackBerry with such amazingness. I gotta get on that.

I'd been sickly for the past week and a half. But since being in Virginia... I've felt a lot better. Thank God.
