Heeellllooooooooooooo
Whew…let’s see… the madness has begun but, it’s all okay. My mom arrived in town last Tuesday and we haven’t stopped running yet! Some highlights so far…we took her to her first Crawfish Boil (no, she did not suck the heads but, my friends took her as his date it was pretty damn funny), we went the Japanese Festival at Hermann Park, and down to Alvin to visit with rayhatespeople’s family. We’ve eaten seafood and then more seafood and then we had some seafood…My mom is a fiend!
We just picked my Dad up at the airport last night. He is a bit higher maintanance (and by bit more I mean A HELL OF A LOT MORE) then my Mom but, so far everything is ok. He’s called about 5 times this AM…wondering where to go for breakfast, names of roads, where the tax place is, etc….he cracks me up! The show is definitely getting interesting.
My sister and her kids arrive on Friday and we have all kinds of stuff planned to do while they are here plus Easter so it’s pretty manic right now. I LOVE IT!!!! I told my family that Easter in Houston needs to become our new family tradition. We will see if it catches on…or if my husband leaves me…I hid the video camera from him as he always wants to tape my family in action and then show his family how “crazy” we all are…We are NOT crazy…just coloful…or maybe just passionate like the Greeks!

This is my older sister doing her best psychotic smile. She was VERY excited about chopping off the snowman’s head.
We found one of our 2 year old wedding cakes in their freezer downstairs. It looked the same but, we opted not to eat it.
I did tell my niece and nephew THEY were going to have to eat the 2 year old cake.
This is my other sister & her mental cat. She would be so pissed if she knew I was posting this!!! Hee hee hehee

Ray was playing with my sister’s dog, Izy and by playing I mean making the devil puppet punch her repeatedly until she was in a frenzy.
