Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. The first photo is more of an artistic college expresions that i'm too obsessed with goggles. I just wanted to share with y'all. The second one I took with my brother. I really like how it turned out. I can't believe how grown up we are! The next few days are going to be chaotic. But honestly I can't wait to go back and see Kal again (and finally get my hands on the new Seabound album). 4 more days. Its quite nippy outside. I wish i had warmer blankets. Soft cozy blankets to wrap myself in. I wonder if its cold in so-cal or not.
Christmas... was a bit strange this year. There was a handful of family drama at the Christmas Eve dinner that we had. I slept in on Sunday and my grandmother kept bothering me, waking me up from my sleep (with no apologizes) demanding that we leave to my uncles house immediately. Even though I wanted to take a nice shower and freshen up. She kept bothering me saying that, "I'm lonely. No one is here to talk to me... hurry we have to pick up the food... hurry or we will be late..." and so on. Eventually, i got ready, we drove off, picked up food and took the freeway over to my uncles place. She was then trying to explain to me how to get to his place... and i think she failed to realize that i had taken a different freeway. So I was getting irritated and annoyed with her... got lost a bit and then found myself there. I was quite frustrated.
After that... from about 3:30PM till we left... my uncle was boozing it up. Other relatives came over and a ton of drama happened. The issue of food.... it was all ordered take out food. talk about shit food. I want a home cooked meal for christmas and i never get that. My uncle was pretty drunk the whole night acting like a little kid... and he knows its damaging to his health and yet drinks it anyway. He offered alcohol to his son and tried to get him to drink more even though he knew that he was driving (my cousin got into a HUGE car accident previously due to him drinking and driving... so this isn't a good way to encourage him). My grandmother kept blowing her mouth off about how horrible my father was... and people just wouldn't shut up. honestly i'm sick of my relatives...
today I apparently missed the whole antics of my grandmother yelling at my dad that he's crazy and shit. i'm kinda lucky i didn't have to deal with it, but i also feel bad that my dad has to go through all of that crap. *sighs* it's not easy to deal with her and yet we have to.

FINN sent me an email message recently... he said they're planning to play in Detroit City next year. They also want to play in Los Angeles. I hope they can come to LA though. I want to help them out. FINN said he'd send me a cd to help promote his band. I wonder what I can do to help promote. I should ask him to mail me flyers or something so I can take it to all the stores and such. Where do people get flyers printed out anyway? I'd hang out after clubs to go hand out flyers... Also, in my last email to FINN I ha asked him for his mail address so I can mail some presents and goodies out to him and the band... and I thought he wouldn't send it to me. BUT! HE DID!!! I have his address now! Teehee. He really did live quite close to me. It's amazing. I plan on mailing him a copy of the KMFDM live, and some new music, and probably sweets, treats, and trinkets for him and the band. woooo. I love FINN.

Thursday: Hanging out with my best bud and running last minute errands.
Friday: I'm driving back to Pomona! I'm going to go see my Kal. Hurrah! (I'm such a dork)
I can't believe this year will be over. just one more week. I don't know when i'll be updating again but I'd like to reflect over this year a little. I have been thinking recently all the insane things that i've done this year... and that i hope to continue to do insane things next year. I want to travel for sure... so I hope that I can go somewhere major sometime next year. I'm not exactly sure when I but I want to go somewhere different. I thought about going to Chicago by Amtrak over spring break because it sounds cool. I've never really been midwest. I realized how much of my life... is really based on who i am and not what i'm made up of. i've learned that i have lived a life of lies... (sort of) and well its been tough trying to find my identity. I'm rolling around between all these different values in life that I'm not really sure of things any more. But... most of all I have to say that I've lived my life to this day with still no regrets. With that... i'm going to end this entry with some end of the year meme's

Moved from Japan back to America.

I had pulled an all nighter from the night above, spent 6 hours of my time presenting a project, only to get it thrown back into my face to get it redone. Hadn't slept for many hours attempting to get it all remade and then went home to bed. I don't recall eating very much at all that day. just another day really.

That my life is full of lies. That i'm 100% chinese (practically) and yet i know nothing of the culture.
