After seeing a movie with Todd and a friend, Todd proceeded to share a portion of a book that he likes called Smooth Like Jazz. I've agreed to read it at some point. For those of you that don't know, Todd and I are formally announcing our engagement today. We have been engaged since Jan 21 of this year.

This girl that I've known for ages (one of my best friends' best friends big sister) is engaged, dating her now-fiance since May 2006.

Huh, we've been dating longer than that.

But for once, I'm not in the whole "I wish I was there" mode. I'm happy with where we are.
