I'm now 60% done with my internship. Found an Indiana Governships internship for next summer to fit the wedding.

My work is unclassified, thank goodness. I feel all official, though, with my security badge. I get my permanent one on Thursday. I spent the day outlining my project. It's really weird. I just received word yesterday that I was accepted for the Department of Homeland Security Summer Internship Program. I am very enthusiastic about the project. I'll be staying at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory working on a project called CAMIO: Cultural and Media Influences on Opinion. Should be a fun, yet intellectually engaging project.

After a long day of speech-in which I took 3rd in Informative speaking, dinner at In-N-Out Burger "animal style" and "toasted," I came home to a warm hotel to find the following email in regards to my Department of Homeland Security Summer Internship Program Application:
