Obedience school!
Katsu had his first day of obedience school this past Saturday. I didn't know what to expect since he's never been socialized with other dogs/animals and it was his first day walking outside. So far when he's been outside he's always been carried because he can pick up the parvo virus. Though I'm not really sure what to believe now. Apparently

It's really good that he's going to puppy class, and hopefully he'll start interacting with the other puppies soon. My instructor said Kaiya's an unusual Shiba because she played with the other puppies right from the start, so I think maybe he's just more normal. And there's a sheepdog in my class, too, and she's got the softest fur ever.
My place does clicker training, too. I guess it's pretty usual these days. Apparently you use it to get them started on each new activity and then wean them off it. It's like a signal that a treat is coming - and at this stage I think they're all pretty motivated by treats. Kaiya sure is.

he wasn't the cutest in his class?! how is that possible? lol i know what u mean about puppy getting angry at the leash haha..lana attacks her leash everytime when i first put her leash on. anyway, dont worry! thats what puppy class is for.. to learn and to become used to dogs and humans.
is the trainer okay? lol dont worry. im sure trainers are used to that! i mean pupppies aren't trained yet and that's what trainers are there for.
hehe katsu sure sounds like he has a big personality! i can't wait to meet him! when are you comiing home?!!
