U-uhm... has anyone seen little Lyra around? Er... not little Lyra, just Lyra, but I was wondering where she was, because I wanted to talk to her about daemons and familiars and things.

Yeah, River says she's gone. I don't know what's worse, the fact that I left all my friends back home, or the fact that I'll be leaving all the friends that I made here.

If you're returned, I heard you're returned to the exact second you left... so I suppose it would be losing people here. Except the fact that she's gone means that she's safer back home. Which is true for most people, anyways.

... Doesn't stop us from missing them, though.
