Dawn was surfing the internet, trying to find a pretty dress that she could wear to do...whatever she and Sam decided to do on Saturday instead of going to the prom.

"Ew."

"Even Faith wouldn't wear that."

"Ew."

Mel knocked on the door frame and poked her head into the room. "Hey Summers. Watcha doin'?"

"Dress shopping," Dawn responded, "and so much of it is horrifyingly skankarific. What's up?"

"Bored," Mel said slumping up against the door. "So bored. I'd go on patrol but there's really nothing out there to patrol. Find any decent dresses?"

"Not so much, no," Dawn turned to face Mel. "Still no vampires, huh?"

"No vampires. No Zombies. No demons," Mel sighed. "I don't suppose you have some watchery-type assignment I can do?"

"We are depressingly short on apocalypses," Dawn sighed as well, "and no prophecies, either. Sorry."

Mel looked over Dawn's shoulder at the dress on the screen. "Ha. Maybe I should start slaying evening gown designers. Clearly they are evil."

"I know, right?" Dawn stared at the screen.

[cantjossme]

"I'd say.... Just go naked. Make a statement."

[lilpunkinbelly]

"And the statement should be that I want to get arrested for indecent exposure?" She laughed.

Mel rolled her eyes. "I forgot how puritanical you 21st century people are."

[lilpunkinbelly]

"People walk around naked where you're from? Seriously?"

[cantjossme]

"Well not naked. Sometimes it gets cold," Mel teased. "We're just not as... reserved as you guys are."

[lilpunkinbelly]

"You should have been here a couple hundred years ago. The history books say it was worse then."

"I'll keep my time hopping to this century and mine," Mel said shaking her head.

"Probably best, anyway," Dawn shrugged, "So, bored, huh?"
