No - I'm Still Alive Dearest Livejournal
Hey Guys! I'm alive, I just kind of slacked in writing in here a bunch. Um -- life is fine. I moved into my new apartment about February 16th, 2007. That was pretty awesome. It's finally starting to come together. I took some pictures of my bedroom and my bathroom. I'll put em under a cut at the bottom. I'm gunna clean up my living room and kitchen and take photos of that tonight. My apartment is really small so it's hard to get a good photo, so there isn't a photo of the whole room but just pieces of it, pretend it's an exercise for your imagination as you piece it all together.
So it's small (let's just say that my bedroom at home is a lot bigger than my living room, bedroom is bigger, not just bonus room) but it's very Jessica sized. I like it. I took care of my friend Sarah's two little boys the other day. One is 2 I believe and the other is 5. Sammy apparently told Sarah that he thought my apartment was cool, it was small, just the right size, like a clubhouse!! Um, yah see equating my apartment to a clubhouse makes this little Jess very ecstatic. Pretty much no matter what compliment I get on my apartment, nothin is gunna top that one.
Uh just so everyone here knows and doesn't go "OMG WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME" or something, Craig and I broke up about 2 months ago. We pretty much broke up on New Year's Eve (oh yes, this was a fun New Year's Eve) but you know how it is with relationships you've been in a long time, it doesn't always just end, just like that, done. So yah, it's been tough because we were so close before we dated and we'd been together over a year so. He isn't talking to me right now, but that's fine, he needs his time, whatever.
I'm super stoked, I'm going to San Diego (Camp Pendleton actually) on a vacation from April 5-9 (flying all dayo n the 9th). It's gunna be awesome. I'm going to be hanging out with Trevor (I met him a long time ago back when Adam and I were still friends, they were in the same FAST company together for years) Pulley (apparently his real name is Keith but um, I know him as Pulley and Pulley he shall stay) and Pulley's girlfriend Debbie. We're going to rent a cabin on the beach and all stay in it and it really sounds like a blast. I've never *really* been to Cali. I flew out of LA and stayed a night there when I went to Japan and I went to San Francisco when I was an infant -- which really is when I think the gays drafted me to be a lifetime fag hag and adorer of the homosexual male. :) The cabins are super simple and since they are military it's like 70 bucks a night and you're on the beach in Cali. That's an incredible price.
Yes, yes I should be working right now, I'm at AGH. However, I cannot get my filing cabinet to unlock and let me at my keys to do anything and due to that fact I'm really frustrated and needed a breather before I threw the cabinet out the window.

I HATE the color of my 'tile'. It's the same color in my kitchen and it's just entirely hideous.

That's what's on the opposite wall from the door to my bedroom and my bed. I hate that desk thing but it was only $23 dollars and I needed a small desk so...
My boring closet. I really miss my walk in closet...and I hate the sliding doors on the closet due to the fact they have no handles.
So whatcha think so far? I'm trying to make it as homey/Jess as possible on a budget :) I wanna get makeshift frames for my posters so they look 'classier' haha.
