Friday~
Yeah, as I left it Friday had been a pretty bum-around do nothing sort of a day. Then I started talking with some people online...interesting. It turned out to be a great witnessing opportunity, but man o man! there was some cursing and insulting going on. Now I understand why God was teaching me the "turn the other cheek" lesson this summer. Now I really should have stayed and kept talking, but no, of course, I had to decide that the scavenger hunt was one of those "can't be missed" events. It was awesome last year but this year things were not going my way. I ran on a team instead of being at a station. That meant that I got to run (literally) all over campus. Now this was actually fun last year, but this year my asthma flared up so I had to walk half the time. Then I realized when I got back that I had a shard of glass in my foot, which I couldn't get out until the morning(OW!), not to mention the lovely rubbed-raw from being soaked in the fountain and running around where my shorts rubbed. Okay enough complaining.

Saturday~
Once again I got a nice wake up call. Actually, I don't mind because I prefer waking up to my cell than my alarm clock, and I like talking to people in the morning. But man my legs and foot hurt after I got up. I could barely walk. ouchie! I went to the picnic on the parade grounds. I was going for the BCM picnic, but on the was I saw my friends from the Christian Student Center so Danny and I split time between the two groups. We could hear the Tiger Band practicing so we went and watched them for a while. After the picnic and a quick break, Danny and I went over to Kendyl's house to hang out with CSC people and watch a movie. We watched Saved By The Bell (that brought back some summer memories) and Gladiator (reminds me of The Patriot). I have to say I'm more comfortable with the CSC group though I have more close friends from the B. I want to be more involved at the CSC this year.
