birthdayness
Yey! So today, I went to the CBS Downtown 5K press confrence this morning with my dad, cuz he had to make an appearence. That was cool, I got to talk to olymic runners and news dudes from channel 10, 12 and 6. I took some pictures and was on t.v at some point, too. Then, I walked over to the Providence Place Mall to meet up with Katrina, her mom and Emily. We shopped for a while, which was a total blast :) We went into Abercrombie and Fitch and were taking pictures with the model dummies, but then we got kicked out. lol so we went to victoria's secret and discussed how most of the stuff sold there would be mightily uncomfortable. ("Liz,you should share your boobage with us! you're stealing it!)
We hung out in Newburry Comics and Emily bought me an awesome star wars pin, and Katrina bought me an aweseome star wars patch. I think im gonna put it on either my jeans, or my messenger bag. She also got me 2 pairs of really really fuzzy socks and three cheery pins, one of which I am wearing today! (it says "its my bday" on it. lol) Then, Katrina's mom treated the three of us to lunch at the Nordstrom Cafe, and she specially bought me some kick ass turtle cheesecake, which really made my day. I had a great time, guys! thanks for the gifts and the fun day! I love you all!!!!!!!!!!!
Then, I came home and went to Sarah's so she could give me my present. She as well got me 2 pairs of super cool socks (one which I am wearing now) that I absolutly ADORE and she drew me a really cute Kermit card. It's on my mirror now. Anyways, I am a very happy camper.
Orientation was last night. It was ok. I was really happy to see everyone, cept max cuz i didnt see him at all, which made me sad. but all in all, it was a good night. I learned the booty drop and met some nice people while dancing to crappy music in a sweaty cafeteria. fun! but, I can tell this year will b better than last. rock on!
