Today is my 14th birthday. So far, it's been ok. I woke up and it was pouring rain, my favorite kind of weather. It was like the forcast was planned just for me. And I stayed up until midnight this morning so I could watch myself turn 14. I finally got to open the present that my friend, Laura (from Ireland) gave me. She had made me promise not to open it until my actual birthday. It was an adorable purple/pink frame decorated with springy shamrocks. And in the photo frame was a magazine cut out of a cow! She's even written a little message to me on the back of the cut out! How sweet! I really really miss her. I must call her this weekend!
