Birthday weekend madness
Hi there peoples, thought i'd log in as i actually have an event worth writing about.
It's my birthday on the 15th December (wednesday), so this weekend my friends held a joint birthday/xmas party for me and them.
Friday night i went to my friend Natalie's to have a girlie night and to catch up on gossip like friends do. We were supposed to be sorting out hairstyles/makeup/costumes for the next night as my party/xmas party was a fancy dress optional. In the end we didn't get round to it and just sat chatting until 1 in the morning before deciding we'd best all go to sleep as we had a lot to prepare for the party the next day.
I always have trouble sleeping in other peoples beds/houses. I can never settle and sleep really lightly so that the slightest noise will wake me. It was a restless night to be honest. I was awoken at around 8.30 by Natalies kids having their daily arguments lol. So i laid there for a while before getting up and asking and the TELLING them to be quiet lol, didnt work, you know how kids are lol.
Natalie got up shortly after and we discussed what we'd have to do that day. As i've been in pain lately with my fibromyalgia, i opted to stay indoors whilst they went out in the cold to fetch the food for the party etc and sweep out n decorate the party room for the party. I said i'd help Natalie by getting some of her housework done, as her ex was coming down to see their son Cameron. It worked out quite nicely as he got to come to the party and then go home and babysit whilst we all went to a nearby club lol.
We were getting constant cancellations through the day, and were getting quite down about it as it looked like we were gonna be the only ones there. Still we got ready to party. I went dressed as a cowgirl, Natalie went as a bad fairy and Hayley did the classic school girl. In the end of about 15 of us 4 of us were fancy dress. Didn't matter though we still had super fun.
We drank, we danced, we talked and most of all we laughed and met up with all of the special people in our lives, old friends, new friends, people we literally met that night. I was so happy because my friend mysteryfem came and brought her good friend triops99 i wasn't expecting them to come as i know my friend had been ill, and when she told me i got excited, as we used to go out alot when we were younger and it was kind of like those days were back, i felt special to have people i care about the most all in the same room. We had so much fun we decided we did want to move on to a club. Some people changed their costumes to look a bit more normal lol i just took off my hat n ditched my pistol lol.
To the club we went, all totally and utterly sozzled, except for triops99 as he was driving mysteryfem home that night/morning. Lisa (mysteryfem ) had never seen me drunk in all of the years we have known each other and was happy to see that side of me, she was also a bit tipsy and we laughed like little girls, leading each other to the toilets etc, wobbling all over the place. We danced the night away, i can honestly say because of the drink i'd had i managed to be on my feet all night, which for me because of my fibromyalgia is a task, and you'd usually find me sitting in a dark corner watching my friends boogie away. I sat down 1 time the whole night and it was for about 3 minutes whilst a friend got a drink. I stopped drinking when we got to the club, i was too far gone to carry on what with taking tablets for pain.
It was a fab night, best i have had in years, hope i get to do it again soon.
I am however feeling the effects today and i am in terrible pain, very tired and literally wiped the hell out. I got home here at 11, talked to the parents for a while and hit my bed, i was then seen again at 6 pm. I am totally shattered now, and heading to bed very soon ... like right now!
