last week of summer!
Today I finally registered for my classes and got my schedule made for my graduate assistantship. I had some training...more of an introduction to what i'd be doing...but overall I was told that I won't have too much to do other than organize the mayhem. I can definitely handle that. Not to mention i'll be helping my advisor Dr Gallant with research and the book that he's writing (score). So i'm super excited.
The rest of the week consists of doing lunch with people I won't get to see as much once class starts, tanning and gettin my hair did, and visiting the parentals this weekend. I'm excited to go to tampa. Not only has it been a while but I'm anxious to see the new wood floors that my parents are putting in. I'm obsessed with home improvement and every show regardining home improvement lately. I can't wait until I have my own house (ya know...without roomies). For now, however, the roomies are awesome. We had a little taco dinner tonight together...which was nice fo sho.
I just got back inside from window painting on max's car (the 17 year old next door). Actually he's 16 until midnight. ha. He's the sweetest kid ever. Most of my conversations with him consist of "No don't lose your virginity to that baby hooker. No dont beat him up just because he looked at you. Yes become a firefighter EMT. No dont do drugs." Monique and I wrote on his windows all kinds of bday love and a "love the girls next door" declaration. i just know if I was a 17 year old girl living next to a bunch of college guys i'd love the attention.
ANNNNNNNNND Brian just showed me the promise ring he bought for monique. *kills self* I"LL END ON THAT NOTE!
